Arthur De Lorimier Md Cpe Email & Phone Number | Dr. de Lorimier is a board certified Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Pediatrician who has devoted his professional life to the healthcare needs of children of military members, and more recently to the operations and proper utilization of military healthcare resources in the National Capital Area (NCA). He can retire from the Army in 2015 and plans to eventually work in civilian academic pediatrics and healthcare operations. A native of San Marino, California, COL de Lorimier graduated with a BA in History from Santa Clara University in 1986. In 1991 he graduated from Loyola University of Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine and proceeded to Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) where he completed his General Pediatric Residency in 1994. He then went to Wuerzburg, Germany, where within a year, he assumed the role of Chief of Pediatrics at the 67th Combat Support Hospital. During this tour he served on the Care of Patients Committee and initiated the first Pediatric Sedation Protocol for the Wurzburg Army MEDDAC in anticipation of what would result in an excellent JCAHO inspection. From Germany he proceeded to Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) where he completed his fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology in 2000. He returned to TAMC where he served on faculty of the Pediatric residency until 2003. He came back to WRAMC in 2003 to assume the role of Chief of Gastroenterology Service. In 2008, he became Chief of The Department of Health Plan Management. In the summer of 2009 he undertook the planning and establishment of the JTF-CAPMED Integrated Referral Management and Appointing Center (IRMAC). Throughout this he has maintained a busy pediatric gastroenterology practice and continued to participate in the training of General Pediatric Residents and Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellows.
