As a co-founder of TheEarlybirds in 2018, the focus of my work has since shifted to making the built environment more sustainable. The heat transition from the built environment to fossil-free is an enormous challenge and I am strongly convinced that we can only take concrete steps forward with smart, interactive (3D) calculation models. TheEarlybirds have such models at building and neighborhood level. With the results, strategies can be developed to gradually implement the heat transition in the built environment. The knowledge and experience that has been built up as an architect in the field of refurbishment and constructing, 3D modeling and automation comes in handy here, but especially the "thinking forward" remains the main approach of my projects.
