In addition to her professorship, she provides consultation services to families of adolescents with dual diagnoses in collaboration with local education agencies, utilizing a trauma-informed and two-generation approach. As a social worker, Ariell has worked in multiple entities of practice, including school social work (K-12), permanent supportive housing for families overcoming chronic homelessness, and non-profit organizations providing services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
