I also create debit and credit memos when invoices do not match; this means I have to investigate quite a bit when some part of the invoices is wrong. I have great communication skills, as I constantly email warehouses and managers for approval. if a problem is not too major I have the freedom to make a judgement call on how to execute the resolution. My problem-solving skills have proven to be resourceful, as my of my team members ask for my input of their problems too. When I first started with Omni I was a filing clerk and with determination I quickly moved to accounts payables clerk. I adapted the ins and outs very quickly which lead to my promotions within months of each other. I have taken mainly accounting classes in college which is how I landed this position. I enjoy working with numbers and people, but couldn't limit myself to one specific degree. I'm getting a generalized degree so that, if needed, I can take specialized classes for my career. Although I enjoy my current position and would love to be hired full-time, I believe it is just a stepping stone for my future.
