I was involved in most eye related operations including cataract, corneal and lasik. As a staff nurse, I had to assist the doctor during consultation and eye procedures. It was in JAL that I discovered my love of living life out of a suitcase. The 2 years in JAL, I had the opportunity to live in Tokyo. I had to learn to converse in Japanese, immersed and accept the Japanese culture of service. Being the epitome of aviation industry, joining SIA was eventual. I left JAL and joined SIA since 2010. I was given the opportunity to fly to destinations which I will never fly to on my own. During my time in SIA, I completed my degree in communications under Murdoch university. I have always been an advocate to life long learning. Therefore, during my off days I would sign up for WSQ courses conducted in-house to upgrade myself. With full ACTA certification, I am facilitating programs for the new cabin crew as well as ranking crew. Whether was it nursing or stewarding, I have been in the customer service industry for more than a decade. I truly believe that sincere service from the heart that is customized is what makes a difference in the customer’s experience.
