My private practice can be face to face or online depending on where clients are. I offer clinical supervision, debriefs and one to one therapy. I have worked in a wide range of settings however, my areas of speciality are sexual violence, addiction and pregnancy and fertility trauma. I work with dissociative disorders and trauma related psychological injury. I also specialise in working with medical professionals, understanding the specific needs of medics and how burn out, companion fatigue and vicarious trauma can occur. I am part of the front line buddy program delivering training within the NHS around managing challenging environments and improving culture. I’m an accredited registered member of BACP; I follow the BACP ethical framework and adhere to confidentiality and work in an effective non-judgmental setting. I have previously held a regular lecture slot on a national forensic sexual assault examiners course and have presented internationally in South Africa and Sweden on the work I have done within the sexual violence field within the NHS. I have provided training to medics in my role for Vita a network providing training and advocacy for those working with victims of human trafficking or modern slavery. I have provided training to charities and third sector organisations on trauma informed practice, working with suicidal people and sexual violence disclosures. I take referrals from psychiatrists or external agencies as well as Insurence companies and self referrals.
