I then moved back to Hulamin as Project Accountant to oversee the budget of a R1b expansion project. This led to other responsibilities looking at manufacturing costs, capital expenditure, pension fund management, and employee benefits. The wide variety of work experience has several common threads running through - - solving complex problems with simple solutions - procedures, policies, process control - analytical thinking - continuous improvement through refinement, optimisation, reducing waste
