I’ve also had the good fortune to head the team that launched Volkswagen in India. While I am a copywriter, my last few assignments as a Creative Director have allowed me an insight into recognizing and shaping ideas. It’s given me the opportunity to help people realize their potentials and push their boundaries. In doing so, I’ve not only grown as a writer but as a person as well. I’ve won several International and National awards for agencies I’ve worked for. I represented India in Cannes at the Young Lions in 2009. I’ve featured on the cover of BusinessWorld as one of the Five Next Leaders of Indian Advertising. And was quoted by Femina (a leading women’s magazine) as one of the fifty most powerful women in India. When I’m not writing ads, I’m busy trying to finish my first novel. Or my second one. Both of which currently read better in my head. I swim. It keeps me sane. And if I wasn’t a writer, I most probably would have been a brewer.
