Highlights of my experience include: • Geotechnical analysis and design/oversight support for infrastructure, mining, residential, transportation, and geohazard mitigation projects; • Characterization and mitigation including related to slope stability, liquefaction, seismic, debris flow, tsunami, and flood investigations; • Planning and management of extensive subsurface field programs with broad data collection/analysis goals ranging from months to years in duration, while maintaining excellent client service and satisfaction as well as successfully overseeing multiple teams of field staff, subconsultants, and contractors; • Soil and groundwater contamination investigations and remediation, including CERCLA RI/FS management, report writing, agency coordination, and field investigation planning/execution; • Permitting experience related to NEPA, water rights, and various state/local permits, including authoring Mine Plans of Operation, reclamation/closure plans, resource baseline reports, and various operating plans; • ESG framework evaluation and implementation including Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) compliance and supporting plan/policy development; • Environmental and social due diligence and stakeholder engagement; • Impact/risk and mitigation evaluations and commitment tracking; • Extensive construction monitoring, construction oversight, and geotechnical observation experience; • Surface water project coordination related to river restoration, flood mitigation, berm/levee inspection & characterization, dam/seawall modification/design, and stormwater; • Management of large and small projects including budget, team, client, subcontractor, and logistical coordination and tracking; • GIS and remote sensing mapping, analysis, and management of large geographic datasets.
