I am also an active member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). I am passionate about continuing education, networking, and assisting patients with lifestyle changes after surgery. My goal is to improve the health and well-being of people living with obesity and related conditions by removing stigma and shame related to postoperative failures, weight recidivism, and setbacks. By removing that stigma, patients are more willing to participate in regular health maintenance visits. No one is perfect, and we can help patients utilize both new tools and classic strategies to navigate their way towards a sense of self-confidence and success.
