Anirudh Khanna Email & Phone Number | I am a young professional working in the development sector focusing on Water Sanitation and Hygiene WASH related interventions with UNICEF Rajasthan field office. Currently I am working as a state consultant for WASH - SBCC (Water Sanitation and Hygiene - Social and Behavior Change Communication) sice 2020 and have worked as a Young Professional in WASH with UNICEF Rajasthan in the year 2019-20. WASH is seen as a an area for development in the recent years with special focus being emphasized by the government in order to ensure basic Water and Sanisitaion facilities for all (especially rural population). Woriking with UNICEF has inrduced the lens of Gender, equality, equity with a more inclusive approache towarsds WASH and focuses on aligninig the Sustainable Deveopment Goals SDGs (6.2) with state policies in order to caheive tha larger objectives of the interventions beeing implmented on ground. I have had the experiece of liasing with line departments(Government departments) bureaucrats for planning, implemebting and monitoring of the respective National Flagship programmes like Swachh Bharat Mission(Grameen) and Jal Jeevan Mission being implemented at state level. My work involves strengtheining of the overall delivery mechanism of the programm outputs and outcomes by ensuring last mile delivery and policies being more gender inclusive, equity based and inclined towardds climate resilient WASH. Major Tasks:- A. Advocacy - At state level for influencing policy level decions towards a more holistic approach by identifying the ground challnges/bottle necks. B. Build Capacities:- Facilitate training workshops on aspecst or core pillars of the respective programs and build capacities of identified stakegolders at state/Disrict/block/Gp level in order to create a pool master trainers of resorce persons who will further plan,implemnet and monitor the priogram at scale. C. Co Create Models:- Handholding support provided to Government especially focusing on strengtheninig community and social processes alng with WASH related innovative technologies on ground. Pilot based projects are faciliated on ground and further support is prooivided to the concerned line deoartment for scaling up the same in the state. D. Documentation and Evidence generation :- This deals with facilitaing state wide monitoring mechanism of the program and documentation of best practices for replication on ground. This deals with the area of Kowledge management. As a SBCC consultant I work for (Water,Sanitataion, WASH in Institutions and Disater Risk Reduction)
