This is what inspired me to get a degree in Journalism and Media Production. Through my college experience I have been able to make several videos, starting from pre-production all the way to post-production. One of my proudest works is a mini documentary I made about homelessness in Washington. I am particularity proud of this work because it was an honor telling the story of homelessness through the lens of a family member who has been trying to help her sister out of homelessness, drug addiction, and mental illness for years. The trailer of my mini-doc went viral on TikTok receiving 73,000 views. It was inspiring to see a work of mine receive such great feedback because it made me realize how important and impactful storytelling is. I am currently freelancing video editing as well as making graphics for local business' and content creators. I am also a content creator myself, I stream video games on Twitch several times a week as well as produce content for my verified Tik Tok account.
