Anesio Neto is a Anesio has been researching applications of immersive technologies since 2017 and co-founded 3e60, one of his virtual tour-based startups, which has been accelerated, awarded and recognised in programmes such as the Founder Institute (Brazil), Inovativa and also by the Brazilian government. While in Brazil, he contributed to the creation and development of XRBR, one of the most prominent associations of immersive content for individuals and companies in the country. Looking for new experiences, in 2018 Anesio migrated his startup to Europe, being based in Portugal and awarded in innovation-based startup acceleration programmes such as SPIN+. In Portugal, not only as an entrepreneur but also as a promoter of the Portuguese immersive ecosystem, Anesio actively participated in local events and was one of the organisers of the Startup Weekend Immersive Technologies, one of the first events of its kind in the world in 2019. Immediately afterwards, Anesio joined the local chapter of VRARA, one of the most influential global AR/VR associations. As one of the Co-Presidents of the Portuguese Chapter of VRARA, XR Business Expert at Siemens and Co-Curator of the Techstars Startup Virtual & Augmented Reality Digest, Anesio not only uses XR technology in his daily work but also is committed to promoting its use.
