I consciously remember sitting, building a heat exchanger, and saying aloud to myself: "I don't want to do this anymore, I want to go back to UT and finish my degree." By January 2005, my wife and I were living in an efficiency apartment in Austin and I was enrolled at the University of Texas. After a stint as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Travis County, Texas, we committed ourselves to our educations, and both became graduate students at Texas State University-San Marcos. In December of 2011, I completed my thesis and thus my Masters in Rhetoric and Composition. My wife completed her Master of History and Public History in Spring 2012 and we graduated together in May 2012. Presently, I am an English/Language Arts Teacher at Taft High School in Taft, Texas. I am also employed as an Adjunct Professor with Texas A&M–Kingsville teaching English 1301 and English 1302. I am also writing more and have developed several fiction pieces that I hope to assemble into a short story collection. Specialties: Religio-Political Research, Collaborative Writing and Editing, Editing of Academic Documents, Executive Summaries, Rhetorical Analysis, Comparative Analysis (documents, video, or audio). Among my hobbies are wildlife photography, fishing in the Texas surf, and as any proper hobbit, the brewing of ales.
