Andrew was the keynote speaker at the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) recent international conference on Reducing Drug Deaths in Lisbon. He has also been called as an expert witness in drug misuse to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. Andrew is a clinical tutor in drug misuse and alcohol brief interventions for the Royal College of General Practitioners (Scotland) and is a judicial member of the Mental Health Tribunal for Scotland.
