She has always been dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs including her time at Techstars where she focused on creating an entrepreneurial ecosystem that reflects the diversity we see in the world by creating equitable access to capital, customers and mentors. While at Techstars Andrea fostered change through key partnerships including a deal flow program with Harlem Capital Partners and a collaboration with J.P. Morgan, unlocking millions for underrepresented entrepreneurs. In 2013, Andrea, Co-Founded Revolar a 2015 & 2016 Techstars Accelerator company leveraging technology for good to keep our loved ones safe. While at Revolar, Andrea & her co-founder, built a diverse, inclusive & remote team of hardware, software, sales and operations members. They fundraised millions and were named as one of the first 15 Latinas to fundraise over 1M from VCs. Andrea has 8 years of Fashion Retail experience including as COO at Live Worldly, an e-commerce fashion & home decor marketplace where she created partnerships with Water for People and Plan a Billion to support their overall give back strategy. Additionally she has 15+ years of management experience recruiting, hiring and building diverse teams with a management style focused around empathy and human connection. Andrea is an immigrant from Colombia who grew up in North Carolina and now lives in Denver, CO, where she enjoys many outdoor activities including skiing, hiking & kayaking all with her little one Emma Carolina.
