Andr Eiras Dos Santos is a André was born in 1987 in Estela, a small village in Póvoa do Varzim, Portugal. An entrepreneur to the core, as an early bloomer, he started his very first “business” (let’s call it that) in the second grade. He was so successful, he brought his first Megadrive game out of the small fortune he made selling his friend’s drawings. This can-do energy and knack for knowing what works followed him into adulthood. His father wanted him to be an architect but his talents for design weren’t that great, so he became a creative and devoted biomedical engineer. But his true essence as a natural entrepreneur never left him. André was born to turn ideas into opportunities. After his Masters, he co-founded Exa4Life, a medical devices brand from Exatronic. This was his first experience developing technological solutions for healthcare. Constantly seeking new opportunities and mind-blowing challenges, he is now part of the Founding team at Sword Health, a disruptive company that uses a Human-powered Tech solution to help free the world from pain, really changing people’s lives. André believes the future is just around the corner — we just have to build it. He’s happy to do his part.
