As digital natives, our students are not only bored with lecture style presentations, they are not hard-wired to process the content. Our students have developed differently than their predecessors and turn to technology to understand content. Hybrid and blended models of content delivery meets the needs of all learners - whether K-12, Post Secondary or Professional Development. I am a huge fan of Moodle and am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the digital learning process. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education in E-learning and enjoying every minute of the journey! Autism: As a mother of an adult child with Autism and Cerebral Palsy, I am appalled at the great divide that exists with our "over 22" children. When services, supports and rights vanish on the 22nd birthday, the student and his or her family are thrust into an unknown and frightening journey. My hope is to navigate our own journey and learn enough to help other families as they begin te process. My daughter and I enjoy sharing our experiences with Autism and life. I am also interested in preventing the assault of a chemical ridden environment on our children. Whether it is food sources, vaccines, pesticides or GMO's, I continue to learn about the dangers our children face and educate when I have opportunities to share.
