In my role as Regional Director of Virtual Programming, I oversee nationwide virtual programming on behalf of Monte Nido. I manage a dedicated staff who are passionate and committed in their work treating adults and adolescents with eating disorders. Our programming includes PHP (partial hospitalization) and IOP (intensive outpatient) tracks and we support clients with individual therapy, individual dietary sessions, psychiatric support (including medication management), group therapy and meal support. Going to work every day is a joy. I deeply appreciate caring for my staff and clients alike. The staff works hard to create an environment conducive to healing. Our team provides trauma informed care through a social justice lens. We acknowledge our privilege as providers and the impact of systemic racism and weight stigma in the medical and mental health fields. Our providers engage in continuing education regarding gender informed care and endeavor to create a space that feels welcoming to individuals of different generations, ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, spiritual traditions, body sizes and abilities.
