Amanda Moralde Email & Phone Number | I am currently an Administrative Assistant III for UCLA Interventional Endoscopy Services (IES), Department of Medicine, Division of Digestive Diseases. In this department, I also work as a Research Assistant, Study Coordinator, and Institutional Review Board Study Contact person for our clinical trials in IES. Previously at the VA Medical Center in Long Beach, I assisted Physicians and Nurses with Continuing Education such as CME and CEU Accreditation. For the VISN 22 Advanced Practice Nurse Conference, I was the Program Support. As well as assisting Physicians and Nurses with conferences, I conducted the New Employee Orientation. Through these experiences, I have felt very grateful to work with various types of patients. It is very rewarding to be able to support Veterans who have fought for our country. Now in IES, these patients have more advanced issues, sometimes even as extreme as cancer and it is important to show them the compassion and care that they need. As a team, every encounter with a patient makes a difference and effects their opinion on healthcare as a whole. I have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) focused in Health Care Administration/ Human Resources Management from California State University-Long Beach. I am always interested in connecting with former colleges, anyone in the healthcare/ business field, and those with a positive and encouraging mind set.
