My training and experience include OH&S, NSC, Workers Compensation Board claims management and return to work programs, Carrier Profile monitoring, Accident Investigation, Hazard Awareness, adult education design and delivery, cargo and accident claims subrogation and mitigating risk, accident investigation. I served a term as a member of the Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) Injury Reduction & Training advisory council. Additionally, I served as a member and Chair of Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committees have clear understanding of requirements necessary to maintain a safe work environment. As a former instructor of Professional Driver Training Course, TDG, Hours of Service, Cargo Securement, WHMIS and Daily Vehicle Inspections. Former licensed provincial driver instructor and former licensed provincial driver examiner. In the past, I have helped carriers improve their Safety Fitness rating to "Excellent" I have run local and national recruitment drives, performed prescreening and vetting of applicants, on road evaluations and employee on boarding, in addition to Mentor and coach drivers both one on one and in groups utilizing telematics, driver scorecards, on road evaluations and Job Safety Observations.
