Provide leadership for the Technical team (of 8 people) by; • Lead and manage activities of the Technical Services team and provide coaching in order to improve performance of subordinates, and ensure their succession. • Plan, manage, monitor and report engineering fix and variable cost (more then 2,5 MM US$) to maximize performance at optimum cost while ensuring accurate forecast and timely implementation of actions. • Development and implementation of strategies for the future Capital Investments consistent with FMCG environment dynamics. • Monitor and analyse production equipment performance in order to identify areas of improvement, corrective actions for customer complaints and develop alternative solutions to meet factory KPIs. • Take responsibility for deployment of best practices of/in the region and Global Engineering initiatives • Have a role in local 5S development and implementation team as Engineering representative. Provide leadership for the Production team (of 72 people) by; • Ensure accomplishment of aggressive manufacturing KPIs and controls consistent with company objectives including security, quality, cost, productivity, morale and delivery requirements. • Coordinate production activities with other functions such as production planning, marketing, new product development, quality, customer services, and engineering. • Lead & participate in any/all necessary production meetings. • Take responsibility for managing, guiding, training and supporting subordinate group leaders & department staff. • Prepare and conduct performance evaluation of direct reports. • Study on production costs & contribute to long & short term budgeting & reporting of production expenses.Provide strong engineering knowledge for the implementation of improvement activities • Responsible for analysis & improvement of technical efficiency and production processes in general; developed and employed projects (i.e. how to reduce waste yields) where a high level of technical knowledge and capability are required. • Contribute to forecasting manpower, equipment and supplies needed for projects, objectives and goals. • Organize & lead annual continuous improvement conference held with the participation of colleagues from various JT & JTI locations.Provide leadership for the Material Planning team (of 120 people) by • Responsible for keeping production operations running smoothly & performing analysis on how to increase the efficiency of production activities i.e. improving the performance of machinery and equipment. • Ensure managing production activities within scope of expected amount with expected quality and deadline.
