Prior to joining A&M, I served as a Partner in the Strategy & Transactions - Transaction Diligence practice of Ernst & Young (EY) in the Middle East. I spent almost 15 years at EY, based most recently in Dubai, with a mandate to advise clients across the Middle East on both regional and outbound transactions. Prior to that, I was based in Saudi Arabia to help rebuild EY’s Transaction Advisory Services practice in the Kingdom. I started my professional services career and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at EY in London after earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Imperial College London. I’ve advised on over 250 transactions/projects in the Middle East including engagements for pre-acquisition financial due diligence and integrated due diligence (including other due diligence work-streams such as commercial, operational, technical, IT, tax etc.), vendor financial due diligence, reporting accountant roles for capital markets transactions, SPA support from an accounting/financial perspective, completion accounts review, and other transaction advisory services including deal origination, valuation, market entry approaches, feasibility studies, expansion strategies, operating model and business case development, and financial modeling.
