My interests have been on identifying the various concerns with urban water management primarily due to frequent storms that have a significant impact on the hydrologic cycle, being able to analyze these interactions and their effects for efficient control on water quantity and quality with the introduction of stormwater best management practices, low impact developments and stormwater control measures to help urban environments adapt to increasing storms. Over the course of my research I have also been looking at various green infrastructure programs implemented by cities all across the United States and assess their benefits and co-benefits and the effect of various maintenance regimes that affect the efficient operation and longevity of these water systems.
