Alexandria Skinner Email & Phone Number | I am a graduate of Berry College where I received a Bachelors of Science in Physics with a double minor in Mathematics and Music. I've worked various jobs at Berry College in the last few years. I have worked as a fundraiser for the alumni center, as a student organizer for Math Competitions held on campus, as a lab assistant for the physics department, an observatory assistant, a tutor and teaching assistant, and as a research student. Through research, I have presented my work at multiple conferences and have published three articles in the American Journal of Physics. I also worked as a co-leader for the Berry College Elementary and Middle School Girl Scout Troop. I worked with a wonderful group of second-grade and third-grade girls that reminded me every meeting why I loved Girl Scouts at their age. I was also the president for the Berry College Society of Physics Students Chapter for two years, a club that allows me to promote the field I love through outreach to the Berry and Rome community. Now that I am a graduate, I am moving on to the next phase of my journey at Arete Preparatory Academy with Great Hearts Schools in the Phoenix, AZ Area where I teach 7th and 8th grade science.
