I worked in different positions at the company until I became Vice President in 1973 and with my father's retirement, I took over as President in 1976. The company was sold to Elevadores Sur and I became a minority partner as General Director. From then onwards, we were acquired by Pandrol Ltd (English), later bought by Grupo Delachaux (French), which until today is the controller of the company. During all these years until 2019 I worked as Managing Director, learning to work with companies from different cultures, which helped me enormously in my personal and cultural development. I am a musician and have complete courses in accordion and piano and I play guitar. I played basketball from my youth until a few years ago, participating in various teams (including college). The sport was fundamental in my career as it taught me to be competitive and a leader, as I was captain of most of the teams I participated in. Knowing how to savor a victory, a championship and feel the bitter taste of losing has immeasurable value in the formation of anyone.
