My family taught me at a young age the power of education. My elementary school teachers ignited my passion for teaching. In third grade I knew that I would never leave the classroom. My dream was to one day have my own school. I envisioned naming my school after my father who really instilled the value in education in my heart. In 2013, I earned my BA from SDSU. Immediately following, I pursued an MA in Educational Leadership and obtained my Preliminary Administrative Credential in December 2018. My dreams expanded, as did my aspirations, shifting from transforming the lives of students within one classroom to influencing the practices of teachers across multiple classrooms. With over eight years of experience shaping young minds, I yearn to further my knowledge by pursuing a PhD while transitioning into a full-time administrative role. My educational journey has been marked by countless opportunities to lead and apply my expertise in meaningful ways. The joy of witnessing student achievement has been a constant source of inspiration throughout my career, spanning grades 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 7th. Beyond the classroom, I have enthusiastically embraced roles as a Student Council Advisor, Cheer Coach, Induction Mentor, School Site Council member, and Social Justice and Equity teammate, and Charter Renewal Committee. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the diverse needs of students and further fueled my commitment to creating an inclusive and empowering educational environment. My true passion lies in the students who have yet to find their "why" - those who have not yet discovered the joy and wonder of learning. It is these students who drive my determination to make a difference. I am resolute in my dedication to help each and every child uncover their unique purpose and embrace the boundless possibilities education can offer.
