After working in many different industries and environments, I can say that tech, specifically start ups, is my calling. I love the scrappiness, uncertainty and excitement that comes along with it. Being hired on at Weebly with that ambiguous title of "Accountant" was an exciting opportunity. I got to set up the accounting team and function from scratch, not a single policy or playbook to follow. I'm proud to say that the team now functions like a well oiled machine.
