In 2011 I was offered a job shortly after graduation as a Data Wrangler on the Starz television series 'Spartacus'. Shortly after my contract ended, I was offered the role of Assistant Editor at Starfish Pictures, and was quickly promoted to Lead Editor on the reality television show 'Rapid Response'. In 2013, I decided to move city and took up a role as Visual Content Handler at stuff.co.nz. Initially editing and processing stills and video shot by photographers, I was quickly asked to shoot my own images and videos, and continue to do so today alongside editing. I have also taken on responsibility to edit, produce and record podcast series throughout my time at Stuff. Alongside my work at Stuff, I have also written, directed and edited various short films and music videos. I love filmmaking, and it has been my number one passion since my high school years. Three of my short films have made the finals in New Zealand's largest short film competition, the 48 Hour Film Festival, and I am currently in the final stages of post-production on my short film 'SMOG', which received funding from the New Zealand Film Commission based on the strength of the script and story. In late 2019, I was offered funding for my short film "I'm a Man!" by the Emerging Artists Trust based in Wellington, New Zealand. "I'm a Man" was shot in September 2019 and is currently being submitted to film festivals alongside SMOG.
