I spent 2 years developing a trade skill in Plumbing & Heating, moved on to a more ambitious study in Cyber securities and web development and finally entered the world of work. I started my professional career in a retail based environment, I am a fast hard working learner, Within 12 months I was accepted in to a business analyst role on the side working alongside the franchisee of JT Retail Entertainments LTD trading under the name CeX, this role involved creating formulas to be used alongside Google sheets, working with network setups to support secure FTP file transfers between 8 different franchise stores, this was in order to keep within GDPR guidelines. Other tasks including creating and maintaining a web intranet for the franchise to access all the necessary tools such as sales reports and daily reports. JTRetail sold the franchise over to a new franchisee GDMP LTD at the end of 2019, i was then approached again by the franchisee to work in a Loss Prevention role, this mainly involved doing weekly investigations to stock being transferred out and making sure they were received in again, Chasing up stores for stock related issues and at times chasing up delivery companies such as UPS and DPD for proof of delivery or delay reports. As COVID-19 came in to play I found myself looking for a new job role, I ended up getting employed to work in the Showroom Department of B&Q and working my way up and gaining a lot more experience in CAD Designing. This role taught me the knowledge of the Kitchen, Bathroom & Bedroom world. I ended up bringing in some great sales figure during the sale period bringing in 26,000 realized sales in a 4 week period. In June 2021, I applied for a new position at Bradford's Building Supplies this was as a Kitchen Designer, I really enjoyed the skills i learned at B&Q but I wanted to move to a more trade orientated environment so I am able to gain a bigger connection with the necessary contacts. Over the busy period after Christmas I was able to bring in 63,000 of realized sales.
