After graduating with a First in Civil Engineering I started my career as a Engineer progressing to Project Manager and then Regional Engineering Manager with top flight National Contractors working on a variety of high-profile projects. This included Hospitals, Airports, Arenas, Exhibition Centre's, residential & commercial projects. In that time I became chartered with both the ICE and IOB and managed a team of 50 engineers. In 2005 I was head-hunted to move into Client-side Project Management. Since then I have helped deliver many major building and civil engineering projects for Clients from inception to completion principally employing the JCT Design & Build, and NEC forms of Contract. My last projects was the award winning 100m Three Snowhill office Building in Birmingham. This followed on from the successful delivery of Snowhill One & Two Snowhill which transformed a derelict site into 1million ft2 of Grade A office space. From Jan 2020 to Jan 2022 I was appointed as the NEC4 Project Manager for the 400m Midland Metropolitan University Hospital in Birmingham. I retired in December 2022 to start a new adventure.
