I have managed Concierge teams in London, Edinburgh and Loch Lomond to great success, culminating in team awards at Cameron House as well as both "les Clefs d'Or Concierge of the year" and the prestigious "Service through Friendship" awards. As the founding Chairman of the Scottish Golden Keys (Les Clefs d'Or) I have seen our Society grow to now having close to 30 full Les Clefs d'Or Concierge and a home elected committee. Our Associate members are made up from the cream of the Scottish Hospitality fraternity who are attracted by the tangible benefits of being affiliated with 'The Keys'. We host regular meetings, Golf days and charitable events and the high point of our social calendar is the "St Andrews Ball" in November. We are a non profit Society and a charitable organisation, and we are immensely proud to have so far donated over 51K to Scottish charities. A qualified group trainer I began the training element of my career by writing and implementing a set of "5 Star Positive language workshops" at Cameron House. They made an immediate impact and we reaped the rewards, especially in the teams performance and confidence levels and of course our guest experience. I look forward to hosting more training workshops for my colleagues at The Blythswood I was delighted to deliver a training session on "Crisis management-the concierge' role" at the Moroccan Les Clefs d' Or 2018 AGM and also my workshop "The Power of Positivity" at the Pan European Congress in Marrakesh. In March I presented “The World of Les Clefs d'Or" at the UICH Congress in Cannes which was a huge honour.
