Currently, I work as a Senior Software Engineer at MercadoLibre, in the Collections of MercadoCrédito (Credits) back-end team. My rol consists on design and support cross team initiatives, to ensure the quality and integrity of our team APIs, to train, help and be a technical and not technical referent of my team. As BU we collect all installments and loan payments from all over LATAM, managing thousands of requests per minute in each API, having to manage balances, debts and different types of payments from borrowers, for each product, among other features. All this in a concurrent and eventually consistent environment. Last year I have been learning in depth, and giving technical talks about different topics: SOLID applied in Go, best coding practices, Unit Testing and new product features. I like interacting with external teams, developing cross-team initiatives, and working in agile teams. Also, I always prefer to have a great impact on the user.
