Right now my biggest technology passions are: Ruby on Rails - I'm a huge enthusiast and love how quickly applications can be developed HTML5 - Super excited about the semantic elements that are part of this language and love the video options, etc. Postgresql - Very interested in this and am actively working on mastering the syntax differences Hadoop - super exciting technology that allows you to work with large volumes of data in a very efficient way Python - This is a force to be reckoned with almost all cutting edge tech products are using python in some way Redis - seems to be the fastest performance database monster even beating mongodb, which is awesome itself. Used by bit.ly. MongoDB - high performance database! OSGI - Making modularity on the large code base where it will achieve the goal to easily maintain and making scalable. Odata , Restlet Framework. A few others I love: Photoshop - my left arm. I love it so very much Aftereffects - inspiration and creativity overload. Make videos magical. CSS3 - yay! Love it! node.js - very cool learning more about working with this Analytic tools - Access to information is a vital component to understanding how what you are creating impacts users and if you are reaching your audience as you intend. Everyone who creates sites should understand analytics whether it's google analytics, clicktale, getclicky or the like - learn them and be empowered! Now , It's the game on Cassandra , AWS , Node JS , Angular JS , Elastic Search , Docker , Apache Spark , Apache Camel and Fuse ESB.
