Both of my University degrees are inside the marine and industrial field with experience onshore and offshore. I am Automatic Regulation and Automatic Control Systems Technician (HCN) and I worked as mechanical/electrical technician and operator for over 5 years on this field. I was looking for new challenges and I started at University of Cantabria the Marine Engineer Degree that let me start my marine career onshore (at Astander shipyards as Quality Control Engineer) and offshore (as Marine Officer). Both jobs were in Spain but trying to improve myself a little more I decided to go Holland and work as operator / tech at Motip Dupli in order to improve my English communication skills, there I started working as packer and after showing my skills and hardworking aptitudes I become line and maintenance operator. At the mean time I was finishing the Naval Architect Degree. For personal reasons, this year I moved to UK and think I would be here at least for some years. The first employment in UK was at Ace Marine Ltd as Assistant Naval Architect, where I improved the design knowledge for a few months, but currently I am looking for an opportunity to develop my skills, experience and knowledge in mechanical maintenance / technical field. I would also like to add that my marine, inspection and technical skills are all transferable. I am very keen to learn new skills and to work his way up the various disciplines within the company.
