I earned my B.S. in Dietetics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa alongside my commission into the United States Army. My undergraduate experience allowed me to focus on individual nutrition, community work, leadership, mentorship, nutrition counseling, athletics and nutrition, research, quality assurance and performance improvement, and inventory management. The time within my graduate program has afforded me the opportunity to rotate at sites such as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration at Johnson Space Center, UTMB Health Galveston Campus, the Galveston Independent School District, UTMB Pediatric Endocrinology, St. Vincent's House and community garden, Galveston’s Own Farmers Market, and Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute. I have completed the CDR validated Registered Dietitian exam and Texas State Licensure. As an Army Dietitian, I intend to service the warfighter population and their families within the clinical setting and at the Unit level.
