Ailsa Kolsaker Email & Phone Number | Prior to joining Portsmouth Business School on a part-time basis, Ailsa worked at Oxford Brookes University and the University of Surrey. Over the course of her time at these universities she taught across, and at various times led, a variety of programmes, including undergraduate, postgraduate Open Access, MSc, and MBA. She has lectured in marketing, e-commerce, e-business and e-marketing to students and professionals in numerous locations, both in the UK and overseas, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Barbados, Mauritius, Greece and Germany. Before becoming an academic, Ailsa worked in the telecoms sector in Oslo, Norway, and, after returning to the UK, as a manager in higher education. She embarked upon her second career as an academic in 2004, completing her PhD in 2008. Drawing upon her professional experience and academic work, Ailsa has developed three key strands of research, and has authored numerous academic articles and conference papers in the areas of marketing, electronic government and higher education management. She recently co-authored with Malcolm McDonald, Emeritus Professor at Cranfield University a specialist textbook, 'MBA Marketing' (2014).
