Ahmed Dredar is a In the past year, I have worked as a Supervisor at JD Sports Distribution Centre alongside completing my Master of Laws combined with an LPC. This has developed my timekeeping and organisation skills as I have had to balance a full time managerial job with a challenging Masters. During peak business times, I have managed over 70 staff whilst collaborating with different departments to ensure efficiency in the distribution process whilst implementing company budget decisions. Managing staff teaches multifaceted skills such as being able to discipline people when necessary but always being sensitive to people's situation, as you never know what someone is going through! My real passion is for Law and as I progress in my legal career I would like to combine this with my passion for music to help artists' to get the protection and compensation the deserve for the hard work and passion they have dedicated to their craft. Also, I run my own music event in which I book international DJ's and sell tickets to these events. I personally curate, fund and budget these events myself, alongside playing as a disk jockey. My dissertation was deciphering whether the UK law, in particular Intellectual Property, Copyright and Patent law have the capacity to keep up with the rapid advancement of AI, with specific reference to the impact this will have on human creatives and artists' alike.
