I have been a practicing Acute Care Nurse Practitioner primarily in the heart failure ICU with the heart failure team at Memorial Hermann Hospital since 2014. I has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Texas Cizik School of Nursing and have written several lectures on heart failure and heart transplantation. I have also precepted many nurse practitioner students from Houston area nursing schools. I received the Top 150 Nurses in Houston award in 2021. I have a special interest in research and have published several articles specific to heart failure and mechanical circulatory support. I currently serve as team lead for the Memorial Hermann Heart Failure Advanced Practice Providers and have led several quality improvement projects. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with family.
