Before designing a personal transitioning from employee to change facilitator and coach, I lead a senior management team in manufacturing, a team in the engineering sector, a Design For Production (DFP) project team, worked as a sales rep at a world-class manufacturing and distribution company and regional teams and volunteer groups in the public healthcare sector. Business idea submissions passed through the gate stages of 3 x business incubation programmes. The last one in 2016 saw me transition from an aspiring entrepreneur to a digital Product Owner in the financial services sector. I've been fast-tracked a few times and I'm grateful to those Managers for their vote of confidence. I joined teams in the Manager role six times. The takeaways: meet the system where it's at, allow your people to work with their strengths and work with the strengths of your team. In 2017/18 I lead the team that transformed the quality systems for 2 manufacturing companies in 12 months. At the same organisation, I successfully negotiated alternative working arrangements (120 hours a week with 3 teams) and implemented a system in stores to control and manage the flow of sub-components from Stores through to Production. With the contributions of the team, the OHS compliance scores increased from 35% to 80%. A versatile HR Manager in the manufacturing industry with MEIBC and union experience. I have a thorough understanding and proven abilities to plan and execute improvements in HR, Quality, Ops and Production. Previous experience: Business Process Optimisation in mechanical engineering, aluminium foundry, sheet metal and plastic injection moulding companies. Business Integration for an international company with locally-based sites. Stakeholder Management and Community Mobilisation in the non-profit sector.
