I am a diesel mechanic by trade with approximately 20 years experience working originally on Adelaide’s public transport busses trains and earthmoving equipment. I left the industry between 1999 to 2003 when I ran camping safaris through the remote areas of S.A. and N.T. for up to 10 days straight. After returning to Adelaide in April 2003 I worked as a mechanic for Serco bus depot at Morphetville until July 2004 when I began working for Monadelphous Engineering in Roxby Downs contracted to WMC working on fixed plant and mobile equipment both above ground and under ground for approximately 18 months. I then gained employment with Ensign International Energy and worked for them for 2 years on Rig# 20 in the cooper basin until the rig was shut down. I worked for the next 9 months with Veolia in Moomba until being taken on by Macweld industries contracted to maintain equipment at Eastern Well Groups Rig#100 at the Geodynamics Innamincka site. From September 2009 to October 2012 I worked with Australian Drilling Services working as rig mechanic doing extended rosters of up to 10 weeks straight both in South West Queensland and in Papua New Guinea. From October 2012 I have been with Saxon Energy Services working in the Surat Basin Australia as mechanic on 2 completion rigs. As you will see in my resume I have a varied work history, strong mechanical aptitude, experienced immense responsibility for people in remote areas and I am very adaptable and competent. I have attached an up to date resume outlining my education, work history, courses and certificates with contact details of referees and trust this will enable me the opportunity for an interview.
