I enjoy the intricacies of the profession and I greatly enjoy the relationships we, as architects, develop with our clients. Overall, as an architect and as a father, I relish in the responsibility to make the world a better place. It brings great accomplishment and enjoyment in my work when I get to collaborate with my clients to create a vision or a mission into a built environment for the greater benefit of the communities which we serve and reside within. I am particularly drawn to the health and wellness business lines as well as higher education. Each business line, while unique to their operations, do invite a crossover of ideas. Through the experience my career has afforded me, I am able to use lessons learned from a diverse history of projects. My unique design approach allows me to reach across a broad spectrum of project types – healing and wellness, higher education, laboratory designs, workplace and more – to help clients think differently and together, we can develop what best suits their needs and their users’ needs. The cross pollination of ideas from various sectors is one of Stantec’s greatest strengths and why I chose Stantec for my career.
