My passion in film centers around the book to film/tv space and development including the process in bringing a story to life on the screen whether as a movie or television program. I am especially interested in IP scouting and producing. I particularly love psychological thrillers, horror, and dark comedies because although they may appear disturbing or fantastical, they can remain grounded in reality and reveal truths about the human condition by providing a different perspective that becomes imbedded in our brains through the cerebral imagery. I believe the best way to experience a horror film is to watch it in the dark, an activity in which I frequently partake. My favorite movies include It Follows, Eighth Grade, Straight Up, and Coraline, and I adore books in similar genres such as "The Push" by Audrey Audrain and "We Are the Ants" by Shaun David Hutchinson. I am also passionate about LGBTQ+ representation in all forms of media including film, television, and novels and inclusivity in the entertainment industry. Through an internship in development at a production company or working at a literary agency, I desire to find stories that promote inclusivity and reveal a new perspective on human nature. Behavior is a complex structure, and my experience as a Registered Behavior Technician as well as my interest in psychology, particularly personality, allows me to analyze stories and infer how an audience may experience them.
