I currently work at World Wide Technology as a Network Install Technician where I install networks in large businesses and configure software for network equipment. I have worked in a call center at AT&T as an administrator for midrange, mainframe, LAN/WAN, desktop systems, and a multitude of unix and Linux applications. I also have many years of experience working for AT&T creating and supporting networks as a Premise Technician for video, phone, and internet. While in retail I have worked as an assistant manager of a retail store where there was a strong emphasis on sales metrics, growth, margins, inventory, audits, coaching, and especially customer service. I most recently worked on a team for 4 years at World Wide Technology as a Senior Network installer where I traveled the US and installed or oversaw the install of new networks and upgrading existing networks. This included installing new CAT5E and CAT6, fiber, network racks, firewalls, routers, switches, and access points. I was also responsible for testing these new wireless networks using EKAHAU. I also traveled to locations to complete site surveys of customer's existing network infrastructure and document what was there to determine how the network was being used to assist in determining what equipment would be needed to upgrade their network and allow for future growth. I currently am a Wireless Technician at Work Wide Technology where I travel the US to collect WiFi data from small to large locations and assist in testing and designing wireless networks for businesses. I use software called EKAHAU to collect this data and to design or redesign networks and then to test these wireless networks. No matter what job I have done, not only did my supervisors and coworkers rely on me as subject matter expert, my customers took note of my ability to communicate and would make it a point to convey it to my superiors. I pride myself on customer care. My goal is to continue to grow through schooling, training, and on the job experience so as to become an indispensable asset to whomever I work for. I also wish to further the economic growth of the company and to show shareholders and or owners the value of the company and increase the return of their investment.
