  Abigail Griffo is a I graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, obtaining my degree in Public Health with a double concentration in Community Health Education and Global Health. During my time at UNCW, I worked as a peer educator on my campus with Health Promotion and Crossroads. I designed, implemented, and evaluated programs, marketed and advertised various events, and connected with many peers and fellow college students. Peer education provided these opportunities through awareness weeks, national conferences, and implementing middle school curriculum in nearby middle schools. I then was an intern in Disaster Preparedness with the American Red Cross. I was able to transfer my skills and abilities from my campus to my Wilmington and surrounding communities. Furthermore, I had the privilege of being Vice President of a Public Health Honorary, Eta Sigma Gamma (ESG), in which I was able to develop my community outreach skills. Additionally, I have customer service experience from my time as a fine dining server at the Country Club of Landfall and at Fin & Fino. As the Human Resource Generalist at Golden B Enterprises and Stomp, Chomp, & Roll, I was the main point of contact for all things HR. That allowed me to utilize the skills I have had the opportunity of acquiring. I then became an office manager for Patterson Heating & Air Conditioning which gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge and establish my career with a welcoming company. I have been described as hardworking, diligent, motivated, determined, and an advocate. I have a background of public speaking and various team work involvement as I enjoy working with and supporting others.
